Lady Caroline Lamb (1785–1828) was a British aristocrat and novelist of the Regency era, best known for her novel *Glenarvon* (1816). She is most famous for her brief, scandalous affair with the poet Lord Byron, whom she described as "mad, bad, and dangerous to know."
