Edwin Munsell Bliss

I know Edwin Munsell Bliss (1848–1919) was an American author and encyclopedist. He edited the *Encyclopaedia of Missions* (1891) and wrote missionary biographies, most notably *The Encyclopedia of Missions*, and later published a multivolume work on diplomatic history. He is remembered chiefly as an encyclopedist focused on missionary and historical subjects.
