George Soper
George Albert Soper II was an American sanitation engineer and epidemiologist. He specialized in the investigation of water- and food-borne disease and urban sanitation, and is best known for identifying Mary Mallon as the first recognized asymptomatic carrier of typhoid fever in the United States.
