J. G. (John George) Bartholomew

John George Bartholomew (1860–1920) was a Scottish cartographer and geographer who ran the Edinburgh-based family map-making firm. He is known for producing atlases and maps, and for helping popularize the use of layer-colouring to show elevation on relief maps.
