Robert Edmond Jones

Robert Edmond Jones (1887–1954) was an American scenic and lighting designer who became a leading figure in the early 20th-century "New Stagecraft" movement, bringing modern, simplified, and atmospheric design to the American theater. He collaborated on numerous Broadway and Provincetown Players productions and wrote the influential book *The Dramatic Imagination* (1941).
