Thomas D. (Thomas Day) Seymour

Thomas Day Seymour (1848–1907) was an American classical scholar who served as a professor of Greek at Yale University. He is best known for his studies of ancient Greek literature, especially Homer, including the work "Life in the Homeric Age."
