About this book
A historical adventure novel that follows Christopher Columbus's 1492 expedition across the Atlantic in search of a westward route to Asia. It suits readers who enjoy fiction set during the age of European exploration and discovery. One note for the catalogue record: Mary Johnston's *1492* was first published in 1922 (also issued as *Admiral of the Ocean-Sea*), so the 1999 date is almost certainly a later reprint rather than the first publication.
