W. D. (William Douw) Lighthall

William Douw Lighthall (1857–1954) was a Canadian lawyer, writer, and anthologist active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is best known for editing "Songs of the Great Dominion" (1889), an influential anthology of early Canadian poetry, and for his own poetry and fiction, including the novel "The Young Seigneur."
