William, Sir Magnay

Sir William Magnay (1855–1917) was an English baronet and novelist who published about twenty-five novels before his death, including *The Red Chancellor* and *The Hunt Ball Mystery*. He is best known as a prolific writer of mystery and romance fiction of the late Victorian and Edwardian eras .
