Daniel Gregory Mason

Daniel Gregory Mason (1873–1953) was an American composer, music critic, and educator active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He is known for his orchestral and chamber works and for his writings on music appreciation, as well as his long teaching career at Columbia University.
