E. W. (Edward William), Sir Watkin

Sir Edward William Watkin was a nineteenth-century British railway entrepreneur and Member of Parliament who also wrote accounts of his travels. He is best remembered for his ambitious railway schemes, an early Channel Tunnel project, and an unfinished tower at Wembley.
