Roger, Sir L'Estrange

Sir Roger L'Estrange (1616–1704) was an English writer, pamphleteer, and translator active in the seventeenth century. He is known for his royalist journalism, his work as a licenser of the press, and his English translations of Aesop's Fables and other classical authors.
