Alfred C. (Alfred Cort) Haddon

Alfred Cort Haddon (1855–1940) was a British anthropologist and ethnologist known for his pioneering fieldwork, notably the Cambridge Anthropological Expedition to the Torres Strait. He helped establish anthropology as an academic discipline and wrote extensively on ethnology and material culture.
