Edith Œnone Somerville was an Irish author of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, best known for the works she co-wrote with her cousin Violet Martin under the joint name "Somerville and Ross." She is remembered for comic and realist fiction depicting Anglo-Irish life.
