J. A. (John Alexander) Harvie-Brown (1844–1916) was a Scottish ornithologist and naturalist known for his studies of bird migration and his multi-volume *Vertebrate Fauna of Scotland* series. He also founded and co-edited *The Scottish Naturalist* for twenty-five years.
