S. R. (Samuel Rutherford) Crockett

S. R. Crockett (1859–1914) was a Scottish novelist of the late Victorian and Edwardian era, associated with the "Kailyard" school of sentimental Scottish fiction. He is best known for novels such as *The Raiders* and *The Stickit Minister*.
