The Confutatio Pontificia

The Confutatio Pontificia (Papal Confutation) was the official Roman Catholic response, presented in 1530, to the Lutheran Augsburg Confession. This scholarly edition and study, edited by Johann Michael Reu, will interest historians of the Reformation, Lutheran theologians, and students of sixteenth-century church history.
