Arthur Stanley, Sir Eddington

Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington (1882–1944) was a British astrophysicist and mathematician active in the early twentieth century. He is known for his work on stellar structure and for leading the 1919 eclipse expedition that helped confirm Einstein's general theory of relativity.
