C. A. (Carl Axel) Gottlund

Carl Axel Gottlund (1796–1875) was a Finnish philologist, writer, and collector of folk poetry active in the 19th century. He is known for gathering and publishing Finnish and Karelian oral poetry and for advocating that folk songs be compiled into a national epic.
