ಆಧುನಿಕೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತೀಕರಣದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ಯ

This lecture discusses the factors inducing modernization and globalization, its spread and changes resulting from it. As a result of modernization, the primary function of childhood changed from work to schooling, family size reduced and dramatic reduction in infant death rate occurred. These changes also brought other changes with them. Further it describes efforts of organizations like International Labour Organization and UNESCO for children and limitations of these efforts. At last, various impacts of globalization on children and youth are described.
