Zongxi Huang

Huang Zongxi (1610–1695) was a Chinese Confucian scholar, historian, and political theorist active during the Ming–Qing transition. He is best known for his critique of despotism in "Waiting for the Dawn" and his influential history of Ming Confucian thought.
